
The first Grand Prix Prestige for women in the new series was played last weekend at Cues & Darts in Tilburg. On Saturday in the group stage, Therese played consecutively against Jetty Beersma, Sylvia Eckel and Sabine Bakker. Three times a win; 25-7 in 14, 25-9 in 13 and 25-7 in30.
On Sunday Therese started in the knockouts against Monique Wilkowski (30-14 in 24). In the semi-final, Monique van Exter was put aside 30-8 in 17. The final was a victory against 28-year-old Daisy Werdekker from Tilburg: 30-18 in 29 innings. With this victory, Therese continued her winning streak in the Dutch Grand Prix for women.
And with a tournament average of 1.299 and a summer break ahead, her billiard cue can be put in the cupboard to relax.
