After a very good result in the last Grand Prix in Rosmalen, where Therese Klompenhouwer managed to go through to the quarter finals, the full focus is now on the 2th World Cup of 2018. This World Cup will take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, this year from 21 – 27 May. For the fourth time, as the tournament has been on the calendar since 2015.

Seeded players

The UMB has seeded Caudron, Merckx, Jaspers, Zanetti, H.J. Kim, Blomdahl, Sánchez, Sidhom, Coklu, Nguyen, J.H. Heo, S.W. Choi, Bury and Polychronopoulos, according to their world ranking. The UMB wildcard went to Robinson Morales from Colombia, the two local wildcards were given to Quyet Chien Tran and Minh Cam Ma.

Program

Therese will play her first game on Wednesday the 23th at 12.30 hours against Glenn Hofman on table 4. The second game will be at either 15.30 hours or 18.30 hours (local time) against PPQ_Player_5.
