Resilient Therese Klompenhouwer fights her way back into the Eredivisie (Buffalo League)

herese Klompenhouwer fights backWhat many already hoped for, has actually come true. After all, next year Therese Klompenhouwer will play at the highest level in the Netherlands; the Eredivisie (Buffalo League).

After a very peculiar start of the week in which she was “unpleasantly surprised” by the news that her new team DPC was spontaneously shut down, she had to switch. However, as a role model of resilience and with a lot of fighting spirit she managed to turn the situation around in ‘no time’.

“Of course, like everybody, I had to swallow when I first got the news, but I do not give up that easily. Actually, I simply never give up. ”

Result of all of this; Upcoming season (2018-2019) Therese Klompenhouwer is playing for Burgmans Biljarts, the team that recently managed to play their way back into the Eredivisie (Buffalo League).

“I am very enthusiastic about my new team and very happy that we have come to an agreement so quickly. Personally, I am really looking forward to play for Burgmans Biljarts”.

In addition to Therese, Burgmans Biljarts’ team will also include Johan Roijers, Bert van Manen, Marco Jansen, Bart Ceulemans and Thorsten Frings.

Therese, who now again can fully focus on her sport, will  travel to Turkey, directly after the current competition, in order to play the first World Cup of the season (Antalya 23-29 April). The months afterwards she will focus on 3 other World Cups, the Grand Prix and the European Ladies Cup in Rosmalen and of course the World Championship in Turkey (September 18-20 in Izmir). A nice prelude to her new adventure in the Eredivisie.
