Last weekend the third Predator European Grand Prix 3-cushion for women took place in Gandia, Spain. And for the third consecutive time Therese managed to win this Women’s Grand Prix.
In the preliminary rounds, which were played on Friday and Saturday, Therese won 3 times 25-6 (against Hanny Hultermans, Helga Mitterböck and Monika Steinberger). Therese was also on a roll in the quarter finals and easily put aside the German Steffi Träm 30-7 in 22 innings. This meant she had one leg in the final..
On Saturday in the semi-finals it was the Turkish Gülsen Degener who wanted to keep Therese from the final.
However, Therese also managed to win this match relatively easily and won 30-14 in 24 innings. So… with 2 legs in the final. This was eventually won (again in 30-6) against Güzin Mujde Karakasli in 19 innings.
Therese finished the tournament with a tournament average of 1.289.
